Turkeys Falling From The Skies

So in real life I work on the periphery of the medical field. Which means I hear about things that affect doctors and nurses and other health professionals.

One of them is the medical codes they use to get your insurance company to pay for things--like if a turkey falls from the sky and injures you.

My husband and I were watching the classic, classic, classic Thanksgiving episode of WKRP in Cincinnati where...well, I'll show you:


So thirty-seven years late, there will finally be a medical code (W61.42 Struck by Turkey) to cover all those people who were in the crowd at the Pinedale Shopping Mall.

Oh, the humanity.
